Komtal — Terms & Conditions for Talents

Komtal is a platform that connects talents with companies and opportunities.

• Komtal may facilitate job placements, freelance work, and talent management
• Komtal is not your employer
• You remain an independent professional unless otherwise stated

By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete personal and professional information
• Submit truthful portfolios, skills, and experience
• Keep your profile updated

Komtal reserves the right to:

• Verify your information
• Approve, reject, or remove profiles
• Suspend accounts that provide false or misleading details

Komtal may offer different levels of access:

a. Free Talent Account

• Create a profile
• Showcase skills
• Receive limited visibility

b. Managed Talent Account (Premium)

By opting into Komtal Talent Management:

• Komtal may:
  • Source jobs for you
  • Negotiate compensation on your behalf
  • Manage client relationships
  • Support your professional growth
• You agree to pay Komtal a commission (see Section 6)

• Opportunities may come through:
  • Direct applications
  • Komtal matching
  • Managed placement
• You are responsible for:
  • Delivering agreed work
  • Maintaining professionalism
  • Meeting deadlines

You agree to:

• Communicate respectfully with companies and Komtal
• Not engage in fraudulent or unethical behavior
• Not misuse the platform

Komtal may suspend accounts for misconduct.

Managed Talent Commission

If you are part of Komtal's Managed Talent Program, you agree:

"Komtal is entitled to 10% of income earned from opportunities secured through Komtal."

This applies to:

a. Salary-Based Roles

• 10% of your monthly salary
• For a fixed period of 6–12 months from job start date

b. Freelance / Project Work

• 10%–30% commission per project (as agreed before engagement)

Important Conditions

• Commission applies only to opportunities introduced or facilitated by Komtal
• Payment terms will be clearly communicated before engagement
• Failure to comply may result in:
  • Account suspension
  • Legal action (where applicable)

You agree that:

"You will not bypass Komtal to work directly with any company introduced to you through the platform."

This applies during engagement and for 6–12 months after introduction.

This includes:

• Accepting direct offers outside the platform
• Concealing job details or payments

Violation may result in:

• Account termination
• Financial penalties
• Legal action

Depending on the engagement:

• Payments may be:
  • Processed through Komtal
  • Paid directly to you (with reporting obligation)

You agree to:

• Be transparent about income earned through Komtal opportunities
• Pay agreed commissions on time

• Companies may review your performance
• You may review companies

You agree:

• Reviews must be honest and professional
• No abusive, false, or misleading content

Komtal reserves the right to:

• Remove inappropriate reviews
• Moderate content

Komtal does not guarantee:

• Job placement
• Income level
• Continuous opportunities

Success depends on:

• Your skills
• Performance
• Market demand

Komtal may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false information
• Bypass the platform
• Engage in misconduct

You may also stop using Komtal at any time.

"Komtal is not responsible for: disputes between you and companies, non-payment by companies (where payments are not handled by Komtal), or any indirect or consequential losses."

Komtal may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the platform means acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
